FILM 100V – Film Production Assistant Micro-Credential

This program will help you build the skills and confidence you need to kickstart a career in Film and Television and get all the certificates you require to be ready for Day One on set. Over three weekends, you’ll meet industry professionals, learn hands-on skills, and acquire the qualifications you need to start in the film industry.  You’ll even earn a deferral of the 30-day requirement to join the Directors Guild of Canada – British Columbia Permittee Logbook Holder Program.

Student Funding Eligibility:

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person entitled to study in Canada.
  • Must be a BC resident and currently live in BC.
  • Must be 19 or older or have graduated high school by the start of the course/program.
  • Must Provide consent for the College to disclose learner information to the Province.
  • Should not be receiving duplicate grants, loans, scholarships, or other funding to cover the eligible costs below.

The StrongerBC future skills grant (FSG) is available to individuals aged 19 and above living in British Columbia, irrespective of their financial situation. The grant provides funding of up to $3,500 per person for qualified short-term skills training offered by public post-secondary institutions.
