VIFPA VICTORIA FILM PRODUCERS ASSOCIATION

The Victoria Film Producers' Association (ViFPA) is a Vancouver Island based non-profit association of independent film professionals. Actively involved in the development of award winning film and television production, ViFPA members are creators of documentaries, television series, dramatic films, educational programming and animation.

The association is governed by a nine member volunteer executive committee, elected each year at our Annual General Meeting.

A non-profit organization, CineVic was established in 1991, the first film co-op to serve Victoria and Vancouver Island.

CineVic is committed to independent film and video production. We offer artistic development, screenings, seminars, discussions, equipment access and hands-on experience in media artrs production to professionals, beginners and all those in between.

MEDIA NET

The Media Net First Weekend Club wants to promote screenings of Canadian film here in Victoria. MediaNet, one of Victoria’s active Video/Film Resource centres, joins the grass-roots ranks of first weekend film clubs by initiating The MediaNet First Weekend Club.
